On 4th August, we were warmly invited by Vastrapur SPM Girls P.G. to take part in the sacred celebration of Kanya Pujan — a moment that turned truly special with the presence of 50+ young girls from our NGO, each one carrying silent stories of struggle and strength.

These girls come from families facing hardship, where even basic needs like food are uncertain. Yet on this day, they were honoured with love, dignity, and tradition. We arranged 4 auto-rickshaws to safely bring them from their homes and drop them back, ensuring no child missed the joy of this day. One of their sweetest wishes — just a simple KitKat — was fulfilled with smiles that melted hearts.

The atmosphere was vibrant with devotion, warmth, and respect. Seeing these young girls being worshipped through rituals that acknowledge their purity, power, and presence reminded us all why it’s so important to honour and uplift them — not just during ceremonies, but every single day.

It was more than an event; it was a soul-touching experience. One that left every person present with teary eyes, full hearts, and renewed hope for a better, kinder society.
